NIDA (National Institute for Dramatic Art) is Australia's premier performing arts school with graduates that read like the who's who of the entertertainment industry.  This is your chance to experience the intensive training that has helped mould graduates like Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving and Baz Luhrmann.

The NIDA Acting Studio develops acting skills for stage and screen working with some of the best NIDA tutors and industry professionals.   It is a great opportunity to extend your skills along with other committed students in a creative environment.  Maeve Dermody, who recently starred in the Australian feature Black Water, completed the NIDA Acting Studio in 2004.

With lessons from 10am to 5pm, five days a week, students have the opportunity to explore Sydney in the evenings.  Sydney is a hub for the creative industries in Australia offering many opportunities to experience world-class performing arts productions.  The January studio also coincides with the Sydney Festival.
