2008 marks 100 years since the first publication of Kenneth Grahame's classic tale "The Wind in the Willows". Spectrum Theatre Group Inc in association with The Australian Script Centre is delighted to present this outdoor theatre adaptation by Tasmanian playwright Les Winspear. This summer holiday family event will be held at Mandeni Family Fun Park Sapphire Coast Drive, 6km north of Merimbula.

THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER at 7pm at Bournda Dance Studio, 558 Sapphire Coast Drive, between the Dolphin Cove and Woodbine Park turnoffs.

A reading will be held at Twyford Hall on THURSDAY 27 NOVEMBER at 7.30pm
Auditions will be held the following week on 4 DECEMBER. Shows in June 2009.

NIDA Open Program is pleased to announce a new opportunity for students from around Australia and overseas to undertake the famous intensive NIDA Acting Studio in January.

NIDA (National Institute for Dramatic Art) is Australia's premier performing arts school with graduates that read like the who's who of the entertertainment industry. This is your chance to experience the intensive training that has helped mould graduates like Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving and Baz Luhrmann.
The NIDA Acting Studio develops acting skills for stage and screen working with some of the best NIDA tutors and industry professionals. It is a great opportunity to extend your skills along with other committed students in a creative environment. Maeve Dermody, who recently starred in the Australian feature Black Water, completed the NIDA Acting Studio in 2004.
With lessons from 10am to 5pm, five days a week, students have the opportunity to explore Sydney in the evenings. Sydney is a hub for the creative industries in Australia offering many opportunities to experience world-class performing arts productions. The January studio also coincides with the Sydney Festival.
